House of Delegates

The House of Delegates (HOD) is the governing body of the Ohio Local Swimming Committee (LSC). The official name of the LSC is “Ohio Swimming, Inc.” The LSC is an agent of USA Swimming for the Ohio geographic area (the state of Ohio less the 24 northeastern counties in the Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Youngstown area, and including the 3 northern Kentucky counties adjacent to the Cincinnati area). The LSC is responsible for all aspects of USA Swimming in its geographic area. This is summarized by the Mission statement on this page.

The HOD meets twice a year in May and October for the purpose of conducting current business, sanctioning competitions, setting policies as necessary, and electing officers and members of the Board of Directors (BOD) as required by the LSC By-Laws.
