Ohio Swimming exists for the education, instruction, and training of all individuals for the purpose of developing and improving their capabilities in the sport of swimming for swimmers of all ages and abilities in accordance with the standards and under the rules prescribed by the Federation Internationale de Natation Amateur, USA Swimming, and Ohio Swimming Inc.

Position(s) Available: Assistant Coach

Washington Township Recreation Center is seeking an experienced swim coach to work with swimmers ages 12 and under.  Applicants must have a working knowledge of competitive swimming and the ability to interact well with children.  Based on experience and ability, applicants will be asked to work with our four youngest groups including Lemon Sharks(6 and under), Hammerheads(8and under), Makos(7-10) and Leopards(12 and under).  More information about the swim program can be found on the WTRC Sharks website (http://wtrcsharks.usswim.net).  All groups focus on proper technique as well as physical conditioning and fun.

Applicants will be asked to coach 5 day per week between 4-7pm and occasional weekend swim meets.  Applicants are required to have current CPR/AED/First Aid/Lifeguarding.  WSI experience and ASCA membership preferred.  Applications are available at the Washington Township Recreation Center, 895 S.R. 725 Dayton, OH  45459.  Contact head coach, Eric Limkemann at wtrcsharks@hotmail.com for further details.
